【摘要】:Measurestheretentioncharacteristicsoftheresilientmemberofafiberopticcomponent(mostlycommonlyaconnector).Specificallyintendedforusewhenitisimpracticabletodefineacceptance/rejectioncriteriaforresillientmembersbytheuseofsizedimensions.Thismethodisapplicabletoeithermaleorfemalemembers.Forthecaseofamalemember,aringgaugeisforcedoverthememberandtheminimumfrictionalforcetopullitoffisassessedbyitsabilitytopickupaweight.Thisprocedureisidenticalforafemaleresilientmemberexceptthataguagepinissubstitutedfortheringgauge.
