【摘要】:Thispracticecanbeusedfortheevaluationofnewandremanufacturedtonercartridgesandtheirrespectivecomponentsusedinanelectrophotographicprocess.Thistestissuitableforresearchanddevelopment,andqualityacceptanceevaluations.1.1Thispracticecoversaproceduretodeterminetheweightoftonerusedforprintingasinglepagederivedfromanelectrophotographicprocess.Thepracticeusesaprintertexttargetspecificallydevelopedforeachprinterforapagecoverageof5x00B1;0.5%oftheprintablearea.Thispracticerequiresspecifictoolsandskillsfordisassemblingandreassemblingprintercartridges.1.2Thevaluesstatedininch-poundunitsaretoberegardedasstandard.ThevaluesgiveninparenthesesaremathematicalconversionstoSIunitsthatareprovidedforinformationonlyandarenotconsideredstandard.1.3Thisstandarddoesnotpurporttoaddressallofthesafetyconcerns,ifany,associatedwithitsuse.Itistheresponsibilityoftheuserofthisstandardtoestablishappropriatesafetyandhealthpracticesanddeterminetheapplicabilityofregulatorylimitationspriortouse.
