【摘要】:ThispartofBS1722specifiesrequirementsforchainlinkfencesandgatesandgatepostsforusewithchainlinkfences.Thegatesspecifiedaresteelwithaprovisionforchainlinkinfillorotherinfillifrequiredbythepurchaser.Thisstandardspecifiesrequirementsforfencesupto2.5minheightwithachainlinkmeshinfill.Forothersecurityfences,refertoBS1722-10,BS1722-12andBS1722-14,andforchainlinkfencesfortenniscourtsurroundsrefertoBS1722-13.Thisstandardspecifiesamethodofallocatingareferencecodetoeachtypeoffence,indicatingitsheight,thetypeandweightofinfill,andthematerialsofthepostsandthetypeofwirecoating.Thisstandardisdividedintorequirementsforthematerialcomponentsforfencesandforinstallationofthefences.Thisstandardalsoincludesrequirementsforprotectivetreatments.However,maintenancerequirementsforthefenceafterinstallationareoutsidethescopeofthisstandard.Thisstandardincludesrequirementsforsizesofcomponents,togetherwiththepermissibletolerancesonsize.Theseareminimumrequirements,anditwillnormallybeacceptabletouselargersizes,exceptifthiscouldadverselyaffectthefittingofcomponents,orifreplacementpartsarerequiredtomatchwiththosealreadypresent.
